Outdoor Apparel Designer

We are looking for a talented and passionate apparel designer to join our design team. You will play an essential role in the development of our future collections, from ideation to production, ensuring that each product embodies the spirit of innovation and quality that defines Connec Outdoors.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and develop new collections of outdoor apparel (hunting, fishing, and other related activities).
• Constantly monitor fashion trends, textile innovations, and new technologies applicable to outdoor apparel.
• Create sketches, technical drawings, and production files (tech packs) using Adobe Illustrator.
• Participate in the selection of materials, colors, and trims.
• Collaborate closely with the product development team to ensure the feasibility and quality of the designs.
• Apply basic knowledge of grading to ensure an optimal fit for the garments.

Profile Sought

• Proven Experience: You have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an apparel designer, with a significant specialization in the outdoor apparel sector.
• Creativity and Trend Awareness: You are constantly on the lookout for the latest fashion trends and know how to interpret them for the outdoor market.
• Technical Mastery: Excellent command of the Adobe Suite, especially Illustrator, for creating technical drawings and graphics.
• Technical Knowledge: You have a good understanding of technical textiles, garment construction, and the basics of pattern grading.
• Passionate about the Outdoors: A strong interest in outdoor activities is an asset that will help you better understand the needs of our clientele.
• Team Spirit: You are collaborative, meticulous, and willing to work on-site at our offices in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures.

Marketing Coordinator

Position type: Full-time or part-time (depending on availability)

Schedule: Weekday daytime hours (no evenings or weekends)

Connec is a Canadian company specializing in the design of technical apparel for hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. We take pride in supporting our customers' adventures by offering durable, innovative products built for all conditions.

The role

You'll work directly with the marketing lead across all brand activities — from writing communications to coordinating launches to managing tools and platforms.

A typical week looks like:

• Writing and editing marketing copy in French and English — newsletters, product descriptions, social media posts, campaign briefs
• Coordinating content publishing across social media (scheduling, editorial calendar, posting)
• Managing monthly newsletter sends and automated sequences (Klaviyo)
• Coordinating ambassador relationships (follow-ups, asset collection, basic contracts)
• Supporting collection launches — deliverable coordination, timeline tracking, website updates
• Occasionally supporting marketing asset production using AI tools (image generation, assisted copywriting, light automation)

What we're looking for

• Strong writing skills in French — clear, natural, with an eye for the right word
• Bilingual French/English, written and spoken
• Experience in coordination or marketing (1–3 years, formal education or a solid self-taught background)
• Comfortable with digital tools — and curious about integrating AI into your workflow (we actively use these tools internally)
• Organized, autonomous, comfortable juggling multiple priorities at once
• A genuine interest in the outdoors — hunting, fishing, nature. You don't need to be a seasoned hunter, but you understand this world and you respect it.
