You might think ‘Why buy a cleaner for my gear when I have my normal detergent at home?’. Well, while washing specialist outdoor and technical clothing in regular laundry detergent might make them smell a bit better, it can really impair their performance. This is because all the additives that are imbedded during a normal washing cycle might be great for ordinary clothing, but they actually become nasties when mixed with technical garments – affecting breathability and water-repellency.

Fortunately, Grangers Performance Wash gently removes dirt and eliminates odours while removing harmful residue build-up and maintains any remaining water-repellency. We also recommend it as a pre-wash to any waterproofing treatment.

*Top tip* This is an ideal product to use ahead of reproofing your gear with Performance Repel or Clothing Repel.

Pure detergent without enzymes & phosphates, biodegradable with a balanced pH. The unique feature of this detergent is that it leaves no residue after a wash. It is also the only one to include a natural odor-fighting additive to combat the odors that linger after our expeditions. It is highly recommended for worn underwear (Polypropylene & Polyester). It should be noted that the treatment targets existing odors while treating the fibers. This will prevent the reappearance of fungi and bacteria that cause these odors. New for 2021, now concentrated to treat 12 loads instead of 6.

Application Range: Microfiber (laminated & coated), fleece, down, base layers.

Required quantity per dose: Front-load washer (HE): 25 mL per garment, conventional washer: 50 mL (1 cap) per garment.
